Adidas Men's Climalite Performance Boxers

The Climalite technology is designed and used by Adidas as a fabric that acts to move sweat away from the skin to allow your body to maintain its natural temperature.

Style:
The stitching throughout the whole underwear uses constrast stitching with the same color constrast used in the waistband. At the time of writing this review, I notice that Adidas has newer designs for the waistband and have different designs. Seems like their design team has been busy trying out the waters.

Fit:
The fit of these boxers are great and the legs do not roll up. In short, the Climalite fabric is good and it does good job keeping you cool. The fit snugs quite well around your body.

Construction:
The construction of these boxers are exactly the same quality as other Adidas underwear. The stitch are flat and do not rub against the skin. There are two parts to the fabric - the gusset/pouch area uses two layer mesh fabric and the rest of the boxer uses a different type which is not meshed. The waistband is not the softest possible, but is good enough to not create any irritation.

Climalite vs Climacool
I would like to spend some time to talk about Climacool and Climalite. You will see the same content in the Adidas Climacool trunk review. If you have read this, you can skip down to our views section. Climalite cools the body by draining away liquid sweat from the body while Climacool provides moisture control and ventilation. Climalite uses cotton in the outer layer of the fabric and uses synthetic cool to touch fabric underneath where the fabric touches your skin. The synthetic fabric on the Climalite makes the fabric feel softer and some Climalite fabrics may add a hydrophilic coating to enhance sweat pulling. On the other side, Climacool uses engineering materials who creates micro-ventilation and three-dimensional fabrics that allow air to circulate close to the skin.

Our Views:
When you touch these boxers, they feel cool but not as cool as the climacool version. I have been wearing many different pairs of underwear for the past few weeks and this pair does very well in keeping my package cool. In comparison, I would say that these are less cooler than climacool, but it does a good job overall. The pouch area could improve a little by giving a little more space. It does not mean the current pouch is squishes your package, but larger packages may have that feeling. You can't compare these with other premium underwear with pouches because 3 pairs of these boxers is more economical than one pair of premium underwear.

Verdict:
Will I buy again? YES - to replace, but if I can find Climacool trunks, I may replace with them instead.
